Hatha Yoga Classes Include:
Centreing, Deep Breathing practices, and Warm-Up Stretches
Exercises and Postures (Asana) to relax, stretch and tone the body
Breathing Exercises (Pranayama) to increase breath awareness and to help focus the mind
Relaxation Techniques to allow the body and mind to unwind
Classes may also include some philosophy of yoga, and simple meditation or visualisation techniques to focus the mind and help to relieve stress and improve concentration.
Yoga is a non-competitive practice and you are encouraged not to judge yourself against others, but rather to draw your awareness within and focus on enjoying your own practice. Nothing in my classes is compulsory and if at any time you dont feel you want to partcipate, for whatever reason, there is no pressure.
My Hatha Yoga sessions are designed to offer you a chance to unwind, let go, and enjoy creating a sense of ease in your body, calm in your mind, and peace in your heart.
